Ingredients
- Pure South Lamb Shank, 4 Shanks (order yours here!)
- Chopped garlic
- 1 Can of chopped tomatoes in juice
- 250ml beef stock
- Seasonings: sugar, salt, black pepper
- Optional: Oregano
Directions
- Place 4 fore shanks in a large ovenproof casserole
- Add plenty of chopped garlic
- Add a can of chopped tomatoes in juice
- Add 250 ml of beef stock and a teaspoon of sugar.
- Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Also nice with a large sprig of oregano.
- Place in a preheated 180 deg C oven for 3 hours or until the meat is falling off the bones.
- Remove from the oven, skim off any excess fat and serve. Great with potato and rice!
