Diamantina Pure Wagyu is the product branding used for this range. Diamantina describes its Pure Wagyu as having minimum 93% Wagyu genetic content, positioned under its Ultimate Marbling range.
We use “Pure Wagyu” in the product title because that is the Diamantina product branding. This product is not positioned as Fullblood Wagyu, Japanese A5, or Kobe-style Wagyu.

Cooking, Storage & Delivery Notes
- Thaw slowly in the chiller before cooking.
- Pat dry before seasoning to help build a better crust.
- Season lightly and sear on medium-high to high heat.
- For higher marbling, slice and share after cooking. A little goes a long way.
- Product is delivered frozen. Keep frozen at ≤ -18°C.
- Once thawed, keep chilled at 0–4°C and cook as soon as possible.

Diamantina describes this Pure Wagyu range as minimum 93% Wagyu genetic content. In Australian Wagyu terminology, Purebred Wagyu is generally 93% or higher Wagyu content. We use “Pure Wagyu” in the product title because that is the Diamantina product branding.
Is this Fullblood Wagyu?
No. This product is not positioned as Fullblood Wagyu. Fullblood Wagyu and Purebred Wagyu are different classifications.
What is the difference between MB 6/7 and MB 8/9?
MB 6/7 has rich but more balanced marbling. MB 8/9 has higher marbling and a richer eating experience.
